Early-life
Prithvi Shaw was born on November 9, 1999, in Thane in Maharashtra, India. His parents had moved from Gaya in Bihar to as economic migrants. Later on, in 2001, Shaw was offered a contract by APP Entertainment that allowed him. After that, he and his father moved from Gaya to Thane and continued his cricketing education. Later on, in 2013, Prithvi Pankaj Shaw and his father had featured in the documentary film “Beyond All Boundaries” and because of it, he developed his cricket skills in England.

Domestic Career
Prithvi Shaw has played for the Middle Income Group(MIG) Cricket Club in Mumbai. After all, Prithvi is the captain of Rizvi Springfield High School and the Mumbai Under-16 team. Later on, in April 2012, he had invited to England to come and play for Cheadle Hulme School in Manchester.
After all of these, Prithvi Shaw made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on February 25, 2017. He has scored an unbeaten double-century (227* off 157) against Pondicherry in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. After all his double-century is the highest score by a captain in List A cricket.

Indian Premier Legue(IPL)
Later on in January 2018, Prithvi Shaw was brought by the Delhi Daredevils in the auction of 2018 for 1.2 crores. On April 23, 2018, he became the youngest Batsman to open a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Prithvi played at the age of 18 and 165 days while playing for Delhi Daredevils during their match against Kings XI Punjab. He has scored 22 runs in 10 balls in this debut match.
Later on on April 27, 2018, Prithvi debuted against Kolkata Knight Riders. His knock of 62 runs helped Delhi Daredevils to secure a comfortable victory against 55 runs against KKR. On April 29, 2021, Prithvi Shaw became the second player to hit six- boundaries in an over in the IPL.

International Career
In August 2018, Prithvi Shaw was called up to play for India in the Test Squad for the final two tests against England, but he didn’t play. Later on in 2018, Prithvi was named in India’s test squad for their series against the West Indies. On October 4, 2018, Prithvi made his debut for India against West Indies.
Later on in January 2020, he played One Day International(ODI) for India against New Zealand and he also played the test matches in that series and scored one-half century in 4 innings. After all of these in June 2021, he has chosen in the series against Srilanka and there he debuted in T20 internationals for India.
