Dhruv Jurel was born on January 21, 2001, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh( India ). Dhruv’s father had served in the war of Kargil(veteran). He had started playing Cricket in the Summer Camp at his School. He loved Cricket while watching other children playing Cricket. After that, he started gaining interest in Cricket and he started gaining skills to play Cricket.

Career
Dhruv Jurel had played for Uttar Pradesh’s U-14, U-16, and U-19 teams. He had made his T20 debut on January 10, 2021, for Uttar Pradesh in the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. In December 2019, he was selected as a Vice-Captain of the Indian Squad for the Under-19 World Cup going to be held in 2020.
Rajasthan Royals had bought Dhruv Jurel in the auction of the 2022 IPL tournament. And after all of his hard work, he had made his First Class debut on February 17, 2022, for Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji trophy.
International
On February 15, 2024, Dhruv made his debut for Team India(Indian Cricket team) in the 3rd test against England in Rajkot. He had Scored 46/104 in the first innings & didn’t bat in the second innings.
In the 4th test match, against England at Ranchi, Dhruv scored 90 runs while facing 149 runs. Dhruv had become the highest scorer from India in that innings. Everyone from the England team applauded him for his wonderful knock. He had achieved all of this just because of his hard work and dedication.
Family
Jurel’s father, Nem Singh Jurel, is a retired Havaldar of the Indian Army, a Kargil War veteran. He initially wanted Dhruv to pursue a career in the army but eventually supported his son’s passion for cricket. Dhruv also has a Sister but her name is not available yet.
