Early-life
Akash Deep was born on December 15, 1996(age 27) in Baddi Sasaram, Bihar. In the beginning, he is not supported by his parents as well as his neighbors for his passion for playing cricket. And when the Bihar Cricket Association had banned. And because of this, there is no platform remaining for practicing and growing or pursuing cricket as a career.
Akash Deep lost his elder brother and father within 6 months. And left him alone with Two sisters. A close friend helped him to join a cricket club in Durgapur to manage his daily expenses. And he started playing tennis-ball cricket and earned INR 600 per day and INR 20,000 per month. He had joined the local club as a frontline Batsman, But at the request of his coaches, he switched to fast Bowling. And later on, He got selected for the Bengal U-23 team within a year because of his hard work.
He had faced an injury that may, stop his career at that time. But his Bengal U-23 coach had looked after his rehabilitation process at that time.
IPL
In IPL(Indian Premier League) 2022 Action, Royal Challengers Banglore(RCB) had brought Akash Deep at his base price of INR 20 Lakh. He had taken 5 wickets in 5 matches with a 10.88 Economy in the 2022 IPL. But he was not able to perform well in IPL 2023 and he didn’t get much chance too, he only played 2 matches in IPL 2023 and took 1 wicket with an economy of 9.60 with an average of 30.00 and didn’t get enough chance to perform.
